- When Jesus was about 18 months old, Joseph, Mary and Jesus fled into Egypt until the death of Herod the Great because the threat to the life of Jesus.
- Joseph led his family to Nazareth in Galilee, because Archaleus , a very cruel king, was reigning in Judea.
- At 12 He was found teaching at the synagogue
- Sometime after that Joseph was no more mentioned
- At thirty He was baptized by John (third cousin of Jesus)
- He grow up at Nazareth, then traveled to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, which he made the base for his ministry. Jesus selected 12 disciples
- Jesus started his ministry traveling all over that area and did miracles and healing. He taught love and mercy while he observed the law.

Holy Week is the week from Palm Sunday to the first day of the next week (our Easter). During that week Jesus was crucified and was resurrected
The people were gathered in Jerusalem to be purified and was in anticipation of the Passover feast. Jesus arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the week before the Passover feast. He was greeted with a great welcome. Here is His accounts that week. Monday: Jesus chased the money-changers out of the Temple. Tuesday and Wednesday: Jesus preached and taught in Jerusalem . Wednesday evening: Jesus celebrated the Passover instituting Holy Communion with His disciples. He washed their feet. He had an encounter with Judas. Jesus went to the Mount of Olives with Peter, James and John to pray and spend the night. |
Early Thursday morning: Roman Soldiers appeared with Judas at the Garden where Jesus was. Judas kissed Jesus as a sign to the Soldiers to the person they were suppose to arrest
Jesus was taken to Annas, the father in law to the High Priest Caisphas. Annas sent Jesus to Caisphas Casisphas sent him to Pontius Pilate. Pilate sent Jesus to Herod because Jesus was from Galilee which was in Herod's jurisdiction and Herod was already in Jerusalem at that time. Herod scorned and laughed at Jesus and put a robe on him and send him back to Pilate. Jesus spent the night in Pilate's Hall Of Judgement. Early Friday Morning. Jesus was crucified by the request of the people and the High priest and the release of Barabbas He was hung on the cross the 6th hour and died the 9th hour with two thieves, one on the right, the other on the left. Joseph of Arimathaea claimed the body of Jesus to be put in his tomb Sabbath Day: Everyone rested. The first day of the next week. (Our Sunday) The women and the disciples found that Jesus had risen. After 50 more days, Jesus ascended to Heaven |
